Welcome to Crafty Dog Cymru. We’re Chris & Armelle Dignam and here at Crafty Dog Towers in Wales we’re artisan producers of real Welsh Jams, Chutneys & Marmalades, hand-drawn, hand-painted glassware, including Greyhound drinking glasses & greyhound merchandise, and we publish a range of animal books for children and families about rescued greyhounds. (£1 from every book sold here is donated to a Greyhound Rescue charity) (For more about the real-life Crafty Dog, go to the foot of this page) or maybe you’d like to Meet a Real Greyhound?

GreyFest 2025 – We’ll be there!
Crafty Dog Cymru will be attending GreyFest, the amazing Greyhound and Sighthound festival near Faversham in Kent, 2nd & 3rd August 2025. Come along and meet us and Gwennie, and see our fabulous glassware, books and jams & chutneys.
Magical stories of adventure, bravery, heroes & villains for children and adults. The children’s books cover a range of ages, and all have a greyhound in there somewhere! The family books tell the true story of our rescued greyhounds, Sally & Sam, the importance of fostering, and of course, Penny.
£1 from every book sold here is donated to a Greyhound Rescue Charity.

Our Blog Pages
Our Blog pages are split into Foodie Posts of recipes, food notes and such-like, the Children’s Stories, and Tales of Crafty Dog Gardens – stories, anecdotes and photos of the staff who live and work on our (fictional) country estate here in Swanseashire.
Who is the Actual Crafty Dog?
Gwennie, Managing Director of Crafty Dog Cymru
Penny, our original Crafty Dog, left us for the rainbow bridge in 2020. We searched for ages to find someone to fill the gap left by her enormous paws. After extensive interviewing, in February 2023 we found this little noodle, Gwennie. She became our Managing Director in October 2023. If you’d like to meet Gwennie click here!
Read Penny’s book and see how she went from abandoned ex-racer to manager of Crafty Dog Cymru.
