The Winter Hare (Book)

The further adventures of Rubbish, the abandoned greyhound raised by a family of rabbits.  Finn the deerhound and his friends Rubbish the greyhound and Jeffrey the marmalade cat are surprised at this winter that doesn't end.  Over the fields the rabbits find red spots and strange paw prints in the snow.  And there are hunters in the woods, with guns and nasty dogs.  Are they searching for the mysterious Winter Hare?  Can Rubbish and his friends find and protect her and make sure she gets home safely?  Meanwhile, underground, there is a black and white army on the march...

This is a tale of mystery, adventure and ancient magic, of hairy heroes, dark villains, and of course an ancient marmalade cat with bad-breath and attitude!  This is the second in the Rubbish the Rabbithound series of books (but can be read and enjoyed on its own too).  For ages 8 - 80!
