When the brown sack flies over the rabbits heads they can't imagine what, or who, is in it.  Out pops a gangly-legged striped rabbit who says his name is Rubbish.  The rabbits take him home and he grows into the strangest rabbit you ever could see.  Out walking Rubbish meets Finn the deerhound, who gives him the shock of his life - he tells Rubbish isn't a rabbit but a dog!  This is the story of how Rubbish finds out who he really is, and that family is more important than anything.  Along the way Rubbish and Finn, with the help of Jeffrey, the rather eccentric old marmalade cat, rescue the Rabbits from the clutches of an evil fox, and his equally evil (if dim) weasel helpers.  

This is the first in the Rubbish the Rabbithound series of books (but can be read and enjoyed on its own too).  For ages 6 - 80!
