Would you like to meet Gwennie - hear a real rescued Greyhound's Story?

Meet Gwennie: A Rescued Greyhound’s Story

Would your group like to meet a real ex-racing greyhound? Our friendly talk introduces Gwennie and shares why greyhounds make such gentle companions and much-loved rescue dogs.

Our Greyhound Talk

We visit local groups and societies across South Wales to share the fascinating story of greyhounds, from their royal past and early role as hunting dogs to their later life in racing. We also talk about why they now make such wonderful pets and companions.

Our light-hearted talk lasts around 40 minutes and includes stories and anecdotes about our rescued hounds. We also explain how we became involved in greyhound rescue and how Crafty Dog Cymru, our greyhound-inspired craft business, grew from that work. Best of all, you will get to meet Gwennie, our real rescued ex-racer.
